Dr. Ahmad Latif is a physician, innovative web editor, and accomplished author, specializing in workplace health promotion. Currently, he leads the workplace health promotion program at QatarEnergy, a role he has excelled in since 2008. Dr. Latif also serves as the web editor for two notable health-focused websites: FitToWork.net, dedicated to workers' wellness, and FitToTravel.net, which offers advice on healthy travel.

Dr. Latif obtained his MB BS degree from Damascus University. He further advanced his medical expertise by acquiring a degree in Internal Medicine from the Ministry of Health at Damascus Hospital, Syria. His commitment to occupational health is demonstrated through his diploma in occupational medicine from the Royal College of Physicians of London and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of London.

In 2013, Dr. Latif chaired the scientific committee of the 2nd QatarEnergy Occupational Health Conference, showcasing his leadership in the field. His international experience spans several hospitals and healthcare centers in Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

Recently, Dr. Latif has expanded his influence into digital health solutions by developing and launching three mobile applications aimed at enhancing health and wellness: "OH Nurse Hub: OccuHealth Tools," a comprehensive resource for occupational health professionals; "travelDoctor: Healthy Journeys," designed to assist travelers in maintaining health on the go; and "Destination: Your Travel Pal," a user-friendly app for organizing travel health information.

Over the past 25 years, Dr. Latif has not only contributed to clinical practice and health literature but also actively engaged in educational outreach. He regularly delivers insightful talks, workshops, and health promotion programs aimed at enhancing health in schools and workplaces.
